
Transversal
Max Larson Henry is a Network Engineer, ICT Instructor and Entrepreneur. In 2005 he founded Transversal an IT company specializing in TCP / IP networks, ICT training and mobile application development including SaaS eVoucher MerchantPro platform. Applications developed by Transversal have been deployed in Haiti, the Caribbean, Nepal, East Timor and the United States.
Max is president of the Haitian Association for Information and Communication Technologies (AHTIC) which brings together the main players in the Haitian technology sector.
In addition to his contributions to setting up the Cisco Networking program Academy in Haiti, the local ccTLD .ht - he is the technical contact since its redelegation in 2005-, and for the creation of the Haitian Internet Exchange Point, Max co-led from 2008 to 2014 the Public Policy Forum at LACNIC (Latin America and Caribbean Network Information Center) . Max has been contributing for 5 years as Vice President of the Association of Latin American and Caribbean Internet Exchange Points (LAC-IX) and later as member of the fiscal commission. Max is also member of the board of the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Vice president of the Local Chapter of Internet Society.
Three years ago he led the creation of the AYITIC Initiative: Internet for Development with LACNIC, ICANN and ISOC.
Max holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from the Faculty of Sciences of the State University of Haiti, a Master in Database and Systems Integration at CERAM Business School - University of Nice Sophia Antipolis in France and several professional certifications.
