
Paul Mentor
Paul is an economist and organizational development expert by training with over 25 years of financial and managerial experience. Throughout his career, Paul has held C-level in many private companies and public organizations. He has served as managing director of a savings and loan bank for 5 years. He then joined the U.S. telecommunications industry as Executive Vice-President of Integrated Voice Management Telecom Inc, a Florida based VoIP service provider providing strategic leadership for global product development (West Africa, Europe and Caribbean countries).
In addition, Paul has also worked as a consultant for various corporations in the U.S. In the wake of the 2010 earthquake, he returned to Haiti as a senior program officer – Monitoring and Verification Manager at Academy Educational Development – ARTS (with headquarters and operational offices in Washington, DC) for Haiti Mobile Money Initiative, a mobile money project funded by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
More recently, he provided technical support to the Minister of Education (MENFP) in organizational strengthening, talent management and has done similar consulting services to the Central Bank of Haiti.
He holds a MSc. degree with a double specialization in Economics and International Finance and Project Analysis in Canada, a diploma in Statistics and computer applications and has completed a doctorate program in Organizational Leadership with emphasis in Organizational Development in U.S.A.
Paul has also written some interesting working papers. He is fluent in French, Kreyol and English and has some knowledge in Spanish. In addition, he has visited several countries in Africa; North, Latin and South America and Europe.
